A delicious recipe for boiling black peas and edamame

Ingredients
Edamame (with pods) 500g
1.5L water
2 tablespoons salt (for boiling)
1-2 teaspoons of salt (to finish) (optional)

Scrub the edamame beans with water to remove any fuzz or dirt.
Cutting a small piece off both ends with scissors will allow the salt to penetrate more easily into the inside (optional).

Bring 1.5L of water to a boil in a pot and add 2 tablespoons of salt.
Add the edamame beans and cook over medium-high heat for about 3 to 5 minutes (until the beans are plump and bright green).
Once cooked, immediately drain in a colander and sprinkle with 1 to 2 teaspoons of salt without placing in cold water.
Presentation
Once cooled, serve in a bowl. Perfect as a beer accompaniment or appetizer.

Preparation: about 5 minutes
Boiling time: about 3 to 5 minutes
Total: Completed in about 10 minutes!
